A researcher at PQSecure, Luke Beckwith, in collaboration with George Mason University (GMU), has published a groundbreaking study showcasing how side-channel attacks can be conducted on BIKE, a key encapsulation mechanism (KEM) recommended by NIST for future post-quantum cryptography (PQC) standardization. The findings contribute to the ongoing efforts of PQSecure, ensuring the resilience of PQC algorithms.
